Handshake is our free career platform that allows you to share job and internship opportunities with NECC students and alumni. Promote your opportunities to NECC and many other colleges and universities locally and nationally. Over 900,000 employers and 15 million students and recent graduates use Handshake. You can post jobs, host virtual information sessions, and hold online hiring events.
Virtual events are available anytime at no cost and can be requested through Handshake. Employers must have an approved NECC account to host virtual events. We recommend requesting events at least two weeks in advance to allow time for promotion.
Becoming an internship partner supports your business needs, helps identify and recruit future employees, and mentors students to shape the future workforce. We will work with you to establish internship criteria, including schedule, structure, workload, and learning outcomes.
NECC partners with Parker Dewey to connect employers and students for project-based micro-internships. These short-term paid assignments provide immediate help on your company’s projects and help students gain experience.
Job fairs, employer tabling events, and other opportunities to connect with NECC students are available throughout the academic year. Let us know if you want to be added to our outreach list for these events. Costs for on-campus recruiting vary depending on the event.
